Andrew Barnes- Student Pastor 

When I joined Concord Baptist Staff: Easter 2015.

My Family: I have been blessed to have been married to my beautiful wife for three and a half years, and we have one puppy. His name is Burton, and he is a crazy fifteen-month-old miniature Aussiedoodle. 

When I was saved: August 6, 2000.

Education: I received my Bachelor of Arts in Religion from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) in 2011, and just recently I received my Master of Divinity from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky in May of 2015.

Favorite food: Sushi. Protein Shakes. Jessie's Cocunut Cake. Key Lime Pie. Dark Chocolate. Turnip Greens. Green Beans. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY any kind of Chicken. 

Personal Hero: Charlie Parker. Probably the greatest saxophonist ever to live!

Spiritual Hero: My DAD. 

Favorite Hobbies: Going to the Gym. Reading. Going on Dates and Adventures with Kimberly. Spending time with Kimberly and Burton. Traveling. Reading Again. 

Favorite sports teams: Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves (More than likely I will always be in some sort of Atlanta Braves baseball hat.) Atlanta Falcons. Buffalo Bills.

Favorite bible story: Either any story about or concerning Jesus OR 2 Kings 22 when Josiah finds the Law.

Favorite Verse: Either ALL of Psalm 119. Or Romans 1:16-17

Most people don't know this about me: I have not eaten any beef in the past eight years!

One book besides the bible you recommend: Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls, anything by Steinbeck, J.R.R. Tolkein, C.S. Lewis.
